More Bad News For Glasgow Warriors Fans As English Club Table Bid For Jonny Gray

Exodus.

Glasgow Warriors could be set to lose another one of their star names, with Pat Lam interested in bringing Jonny Gray to his big-spending Championship flier Bristol.

BBC’s Tom English is reporting that Pat Lam’s side have made a concrete offer to the Scotland lock forward, who’s contract is set to expire at the end of the current season.

Apparently whether he stays or goes is currently 50-50, and would represent another significant blow for the former PRO12 champions, who earlier this week announced that star playmaker Finn Russell would be leaving at the end of the season.

Russell has reportedly signed a deal with French side Racing 92, who are also believed to have secured a deal to sign Munster’s Simon Zebo. Rumours are also beginning to gain traction in relation to Stuart Hogg and a potential move to Montpellier.

The French side are currently coached by former Scotland boss Vern Cotter and have a near unlimited budget, boasting the likes of Ruan Pienaar, Nemani Nadolo, Aaron Cruden and Louis Picamoles on their books already.
