Ross Moriarty Roasts His Club Gloucester & Their Head Coach Over ‘Contract Talks’
This is brilliant.
Lions and Wales back-row has roasted Gloucester and their head coach Johan Ackermann over his proposed contract talks, as he gets set for a return to Wales at the end of the season with the Dragons.
Moriarty is said to be close to a agreeing a deal with the Welsh region, with Gloucester boss Johan Ackermann responding to the speculation with some rather strange comments.
Ackermann says Moriarty is yet to come to him and ‘ask’ for a new contract.
“I must be honest Ross hasn’t spoken to me at all, he hasn’t even come and seen me at any stage discussing contracts or what are his future plans, or where he wants to be and why he wants to go etcetera.” Ackermann told Gloucestershire live
“If he doesn’t come and speak with me I can’t help him or comment on where I think he must be.
“I only know that Wales sides are chasing him but I know also that the club want to keep him so it’s up to him to make decisions but at this stage he didn’t include me in that decision-making.”
Moriarty has responded in brilliant fashion on Twitter, stating he didn’t realise that he was supposed to go and ‘ask’ for a new contract should he want to stay with the Cherry and Whites.
I don’t recall in my last contract for Gloucester that I was supposed to go and ask for a new one
