Munster Not Happy With Rassie Erasmus As He Tries To Poach Yet Another Coach

Disappointed.

It was confirmed yesterday that Munster fitness coach Aled Walters will leave the province in the coming months to take up a role with the Springboks, after being poached by former boss Rassie Erasmus.

The South African has already brought Jacques Nienaber back home with him, and it appears he wanted to poach another coach from his former club, with Felix Jones approached by Erasmus according to a report in The Irish Independent today.

The former Munster player has been working as a coach with the province for the last couple of seasons, working his way up from skills coach to backs coach of the province and is highly rated in Ireland.

Thankfully, Jones has turned down an offer from Erasmus to become the Springboks’ skills coach in favour of remaining with Munster. The southern province are believed to be disappointed by Erasmus and his attempts to lure coaches away, but the relationship hasn’t soured.
