Full List Of All The Home Nations Players Who Are Injured For The Six Nations

The Six Nations is just eight days away, with Wales and Scotland set to kick things off on February 3 at 2.15pm. That is if Wales manage to put a team together given their current injury list.

Warren Gatland is set to be without a number of key players for at least the opening two rounds, with the likes of Sam Warburton, Toby Faletau, Rhys Webb and Dan Biggar all out injured.

Eddie Jones’ England are all without a number of key players, including the likes of Elliot Daly and Billy Vunipola. Ireland meanwhile will be without Garry Ringrose for the opening two rounds, with fears Sean O’Brien may miss the entire competition.

Scotland have been boosted by the returns of Stuart Hogg and Greig Laidlaw, but are facing a bit of a crisis in the front-row with Zander Ferguson, Ross Ford,, Fraser Brown and WP Nel all currently out injured.

ENGLAND


Mike Brown – A favourite under Jones’ regime, Brown is a serious doubt for England’s opening game against Italy. The Harlequins fullback is suffering from blurred vision, with Anthony Watson poised to fill in for him,

Elliot Daly – The Lions star will miss the entire competition after picking up a serious ankle injury in the Champions Cup.

Semesa Rokoduguni – Currently recovering from shoulder surgery and could miss the entire tournament.

Kyle Sinckler – Flew home this week with a hamstring problem.

Billy Vunipola – Fractured his arm a couple of weeks ago and will miss the entire Six Nations.

Nathan Hughes – Picked up a serious knee injury against La Rochelle last month and will miss at least the opening three games, maybe even more.

Jack Nowell – Set to miss a chunk of the tournament with an ankle injury.

Henry Slade – Will miss most of the tournament with a shoulder injury.

James Haskell – Not injured, but banned for England’s opening two games against Italy and Wales, after picking up a red card in the Champions Cup.

Joe Marler – Cited for a reckless clear out in the Champions Cup, will also miss the opening two games with a ban.

IRELAND


Sean O’Brien – Recently underwent hip surgery. Will hope to play a part in the latter rounds. Schmidt will be hoping maybe he can have him back for the England game on Paddy’s Day.

Tommy Bowe – A shoulder problem means he has likely played his last game for Ireland, after announcing his retirement at the end of the season.

Jamie Heaslip – Hasn’t played since injuring his back in last year’s Six Nations. Won’t play a part.

Dave Kilcoyne – Picked up a knee strain in the win over Castres and is definitely out of the opener against France.

Tommy O’Donnell – Still battling a shoulder problem that has twice seen him sidelined this season.

Jared Payne – Still suffering with headaches and hasn’t played since June. Likely won’t play any part.

Garry Ringrose – Injured his ankle against Ulster. Set to miss the opening two rounds.

Rhys Ruddock – Out for most of the season with a serious hamstring injury.

James Tracy – Hoping to return for the latter rounds after dislocating his elbow.

SCOTLAND


WP Nel – Broke his arm at the beginning of December. Likely won’t make it back in time to play any part.

Ross Ford – Suffered a serious pectoral injury before the November internationals and is a major doubt.

Fraser Brown – Another hooker who looks set to miss out. Has been suffering with ongoing concussion problems with no return date set.

Zander Fagerson – Injured his foot in training earlier this month. Set to miss the opening two or three rounds.

WALES


Jonathan Davies – A serious foot injury means he will play not part.

Jake Ball – Recently underwent surgery on a dislocated shoulder, will play not part.

Rhys Priestland – Picked up a hamstring injury against the Scarlets. Will likely miss the entire tournament.

Sam Warburton – Still recovering from serious knee surgery. Will play no part.

Dan Lydiate – Out for the remainder of the season after suffering a knee injury in last autumn’s win over South Africa.

Taulupe Faletau – Still recovering from a knee problem. Could be back for the last couple of rounfs.

Dan Biggar – Picked up a shoulder problem last weekend and could miss up to three rounds.

Liam Williams – Could miss the entire tournament with possible surgery on a groin problem.

Rhys Webb – A knee problem has ruled him out of the entire tournament. Has now likely played his last game for Wales with a move to Toulon pending.


France are also missing some key players, with Camille Lopez (ankle) and Wesley Fofana (hip) set to miss the entire competition, with Morgan Parra out for their first two games.
