WATCH: Cian Healy Clears Out A French Player With Each Arm
A couple of souvenirs.
Ireland got their 2018 Six Nations campaign off to a winning start in Paris over the weekend, thanks to the boot of Johnny Sexton.
Joe Schmidt’s men got out of jail in final play of the game, after racking up an incredible 41 phases, before Sexton sunk a drop-goal from almost 45 metres out.
The work of the forwards in the build-up to the match winning score was incredible. To get your body up off the ground, that late in the game, for over 40 phases is incredible.
Ireland to be fair, were pretty good at the breakdown, winning 160 of their 164 rucks/mauls . With clear outs like this… it’s pretty easy to see why.
