Not long to go now.

The 2018 Six Nations kicks off in three weeks time, with TV3 having exclusive broadcast rights in Ireland for the very first time, after outbidding RTÉ, who have ended their long association.

Sports broadcaster Joe Molloy of Newstalk’s Off The Ball fame has been confirmed as anchor for their coverage, with Munster and Ireland legend Ronan O’Gara, Shane Horgan, Shane Jennings, and Matt Williams all set to be part of the on-air line-up.

TV3’s commentary team will be headed up former Munster and Ireland back-row Alan Quinlan alongside experienced Sports and Rugby commentator Dave McIntyre.

RTÉ’s Six Nations promos are the stuff of legend, but to be fair, TV3’s first attempt isn’t bad. It’s not quite what we’re used to, but it’s still brilliant nonetheless. Have a watch below.
