Quade Cooper Told He Is Not Wanted & To Find Himself Another Club

Veteran Wallaby playmaker Quade Cooper looks set to leave Queensland Reds after reportedly being told by new head coach Brad Thorn to find himself a new club.

Cooper is s legend at the Queensland based, having played a pivotal role in guiding them to the a Super Rugby title before leaving for a two-year stint with French giants Toulon.

He returned to Australia with the Reds in 2015, but things haven’t quite gone according to plan, after being dropped by Australia boss Michael Cheika 5 months ago.

“I’ve had an honest conversation with Quade and where he currently sits in our plans,” Thorn told the Courier-Mail.

“He’s not training with the Reds at the moment and training with his club (Brisbane City) instead.”

Capped 70 times by Australia, Cooper has been linked with a big money move to Japan as well as Aviva Premiership side the Sale Sharks, where his former teammate James O’Connor currently ply’s his trade.
