Star performers.

Another cracking weekend of international rugby has passed us by, with a number of players starting to find their rhythm with some excellent individual performances across the fixtures.

Stuart Hogg returned to form in incredible fashion, with an epic performance against the All Blacks, while it was business as usual for Rieko Ioane. His teammate Sonny Bill Williams silenced the doubters after his ‘brain explosion’ against France, while it was also a weekend for ‘finishers’

Danny Care lived up to that Eddie Jones mantle better than anyone, with an incredible cameo, while Cian Healy continued his excellent run of form also off the bench.

Backs

15. Stuart Hogg (Scotland)
131 metres, 16 carries, 2 clean breaks and five defenders beaten. Back to brilliant best for the first time this season.

14. Jonny May (England)
Excellent return for the Leicester winger. A try and an assist.

13. Huw Jones (Scotland)
Fantastic to see this young centre back to his best after returning from serious injury. Bags of potential and look every bit the part already despite his age.

12. Sonny Bill Williams (New Zealand)
Needed a big game and boy did he deliver. Some moments of real brilliance.

11. Rieko Ioane (New Zealand)
The young winger can do no wrong. Another terrific performance with 87 metres made, 5 clean breaks and 8 defenders beaten.

10. Finn Russell (Scotland)
Tough one here with Beauden Barrett and Joey Carbery both impressing. But we have to give it to the Scottish playmaker, who pushed the world champions all the way to the end.

9. Danny Care (England)
A mention here for Rhys Webb, but Danny Care’s incredible cameo turned the England vs Australia game on its head.

Forwards

1. Cian Healy (Ireland)
Another man that made an instant impact after coming off the bench. Unlucky not to score a try, the loosehead made 43 metres off 7 carries when he came on, with 4 defenders beaten in the process.

2. Codie Taylor (New Zealand)
Has taken his chance this season with Dane Coles missing most of it with injury. Another fine performance.

3. Levan Chilachava (Georgia)
The rock in Georgia’s scrum, who were denied a chance at drawing the game thanks to some shady tactics by Wales.

4. Joe Launchbury (England)
One of the players of the weekend with a mammoth performance against the Wallabies.

5. Leone Nakarawa (Fiji)
One of the best locks in world rugby right now. He showed his class once again against Ireland with seventeen tackles and a lineout steal along with some of his usual majestic offloads.

6. Vaea Fifita (New Zealand)
Another monstrous performance by the heir to Jerome Kaino’s throne.

7. Siyamthanda Kolisi (South Africa)
Huge game for the Springbok as they bounced back from last week’s humiliation at the hands of Ireland.

8. Louis Picamoles (France)
6 carries, 94 metres run and a monstrous 25 tackles. Picamoles at his very best.
