More Injury Woes For Munster As List Grows Ahead Of European Double-Header
Not good.
Munster have been dealt a number further injury blows ahead of this weekend’s PRO14 clash with the Ospreys. With a double-header in Europe also approaching, new boss Johann van Grann will no doubt be seriously worried.
The next five weekends will see Munster face Ospreys, Leicester Tigers home and away in the Champions Cup, followed by inter-pro clashes with Leinster and Ulster.
Chris Farrell will likely miss all of those games, as the knee injury he picked up against Argentina has ruled him out for six weeks, while Simon Zebo is a doubt while he has a knee injury assessed.
Tyler Bleyendaal worryingly is still getting treatment on his neck, while Munster also lost the services of Keith Earls during the international window, with the winger expected to be out for up to two months.
