Liverpool Lining Up Exciting Replacement For Phillipe Coutinho
He’s no Coutinho, but a hell of a replacement nonetheless.
Speculation is once again beginning to gather momentum regarding Phillipe Coutinho and Liverpool. The Brazilian playmaker has long been a target for Barcelona, who made several attempts to sign him over the summer.
The Catalan giants were reported to have offered a sum as high as €150 million, but somehow Liverpool managed to resist. Coutinho has said on several occasions that he wants to move to Barcelona, and with Liverpool’s poor run of form, they might not be able to hold onto him come January.
At this stage many Liverpool fans will probably feel if he doesn’t want to stay, cash in and look at bringing in some fresh faces. With that kind of money, they could look to try and bring Virgil van Dijk again and a Coutinho replacement.
In terms of a replacement, Telefoot in France are reporting that Klopp wants to sign PSG winger Julian Draxler. The German international seems to be surplus to requirements in Paris as they look to balance their books after the arrivals of Neymar and Mbappe. Not a bad replacement if you ask us.
