Leinster Issue Statement Following RDS Grandstand Incident

Sorted.

Leinster can put one foot in the quarter final of the Champions CUp this weekend with a win over PRO14 rivals Glasgow at the RDS, with the eastern province currently favourites to lift the prestigious trophy.

Those of you at the Ulster game in Dublin last weekend might have noticed, or been part of, an incident that occurred in the Grandstand, with up to 12 fans forced to move from their seats due to concerns.

The issue affected a row in Block L of the Grandstand, but thankfully it has now been rectified ahead of this weekend’s game.

“An isolated incident arose during the recent Leinster v Ulster rugby match for the seats situated in Row X Block L of the Grand Stand which affected a small number of seats and necessitated reseating a number of ticket holders.” A statement read.

“Following the match, the entire Grand Stand was inspected by structural engineers. The inspection report confirms that this was a small localised issue, which has been dealt with, and that these seats will be available for the forthcoming Leinster v Glasgow match.”
