Leicester Fans Blasted For Disgraceful Behaviour During Munster Match
No room for this.
11 penalties. 11 penalties Leicester gave away during the first-half of their Champions Cup pool clash with Munster at Welford Road yesterday evening, and it realistically could have been even more.
Dan Cole was personally responsible for five of them, in one of the worst displays of discipline we’ve ever seen on a rugby pitch. It was needless and ultimately end up costing Leicester the game.
Cole was eventually yellow-carded just before the break after committing his fifth, but the reaction and behaviour of some of the Leicester fans has not gone down with fans online and at the stadium yesterday.
Ref cam footage picked up footage of fans abusing referee Matieu Raynal at half-time, in a horrible display of disrespect. The reaction, understandably, was hugely critical of their behaviour.
