Joe Schmidt Set To Include In-Form Star In Six Nations Squad Tomorrow
Here comes the hot stepper.
Joe Schmidt is set to name his Six Nations squad tomorrow morning, with Jordan Larmour widely tipped for inclusion after making his first European start for Leinster in their try-bonus win over Glasgow on Saturday.
The exciting young talent burst onto the scene over the festive period in the inter-pros against Munster and Ulster, and was rewarded with a Champions Cup start at the RDS over the weekend. Larmour was given the nod over veteran Rob Kearney and impressed a lot of people once again.
Schmidt is said to be a long-term admirer of the former Hockey star, alongside the likes of Andrew Conway, Jacob Stockdale and Keith Earls as a back-three option. While Larmour likely won’t make the matchday squad for Ireland’s opener with France, chances are he could make his debut against Italy at the Aviva Stadium.
Is calling up Larmour now the right decision? Sound off in the comments.
