Ireland Set For World Rankings Boost After Perfect November Series
Three from three.
Ireland capped off an excellent November series yesterday evening with a win over old rivals Argentina at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
The win means Ireland have now defeated every single top ten team in the world since the 2015 Rugby World Cup, with the exception of Wales who they managed to draw with in the Six Nations.
Yesterday’s win was Ireland’s seventh win in a row, and sets them up really nicely heading into next year’s Six Nations, with the provincial coaches also no doubt looking forward to heading back into Europe with their internationals on form.
The win also means Ireland are set to leapfrog Australia in the world rankings, after the Wallabies were thrashed at the hands of Scotland yesterday in Murrayfield.
