Eddie Jones Has A Dig At Scotland When Asked About Their Revival
Classic Jones.
Scotland enjoyed a hugely successful Autumn International Series under new head coach Gregor Townsend, with many now pipping them to finally become genuine Six Nations contenders.
They pushed world champions the All Blacks all the way a couple of weeks back, before thumping the Wallabies last weekend in a record win, Townsend’s second win over Australia since taking over.
So does England head coach Eddie Jones think Scotland will cause problems for his side during next year’s Calcutta Cup game in the Six Nations? Not really. When asked about their revival, Jones had this to say.
“I remember before we played them last year they were being talked up as the best team in Europe, so let’s just wait and see,” he said.
Oh and in case you forgot, England won that game 61-21. Something tells us however, it will be a lot closer in Murrayfield next year.
