Chris Cloete’s Stats For Munster After Just 5 Games Are Incredible
What a bloody signing.
New Munster signing Chris Cloete is already making headlines after a string of impressive performances in both the Guinness PRO14 and the European Champions Cup.
The openside has played just five games, but is already quickly becoming a key member of the Munster squad. He’s an absolute menace at the breakdown, but can also carry, tackle and beat defenders with devastating strength and pace.
He’s probably the most natural seven Munster have had since the days of David Wallace, and also has elements of Wallaby skipper Michael Hooper in him among others.
His impact so far on Munster, after just five games, is incredible. He’s bagged two tries and carried for nearly 100 metres off 29 carries. He averages almost ten tackles and 1.2 turnovers per game. He’s also beaten seven defenders so far in his five appearances.
This guy is total package, and after signing a three-year deal with Munster, looks set to become a permanent fixture for many years to come.
